1. Access data and hosting
You can visit our website without providing any personal information. Each time you visit the website, the web server automatically saves a so-called server log file, which contains, for example, the name of the requested file, your IP address, the date and time of the request, the amount of data transferred and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the request.
These access data are evaluated exclusively to ensure trouble-free operation of the site and to improve our services. According to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, this serves to protect our legitimate interests in the correct presentation of our offer, which are of overriding importance in the process of balancing interests. All access data will be deleted no later than seven days after the end of your visit to the site.
2. Data collection and use
We collect personal data if you voluntarily provide it when contacting us (e.g. via contact form or e-mail). Mandatory fields are marked as such, because in these cases we need the data to process your contact or to open a customer account in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR and you cannot send the contact without this information. You can read which data is collected from the various input forms. We use the data you provide to process your requests.
After complete processing of the request, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after expiry of the tax and commercial law retention periods, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data further, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this declaration.
3. Data transfer
If you have ordered goods that we will send to you by post, we will provide the carrier commissioned with the delivery with the data required for the execution of the contract in accordance with the state of the art, Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR, if this is necessary for the delivery of ordered goods.
4. Email newsletter
Email advertising with newsletter registration
When you register for one of our newsletters or provide your data to download a document free of charge from our website or our Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn presence, we use the data required for this or separately provided by you to regularly send you our e-mail newsletter on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR.
The newsletter is sent on our behalf by service providers to whom we pass on your e-mail address for this purpose.
If the newsletter is sent via a service provider based in the US, this service provider is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. As a result of this agreement between the US and the European Commission, the latter has established an adequate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by sending a message to the contact option described below or via a link included for this purpose in the newsletter. After unsubscribing, we will delete your e-mail address unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data further, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this declaration.

5b. Web analysis
Use of Google (Universal) Analytics for the analysis of website visits
This website uses Google (Universal) Analytics for website analysis to analyse website visits. The web analysis service is provided by Google Ireland Limited, a company incorporated under Irish law with registered office at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (www.google.de). This is intended to safeguard our legitimate interests in an optimised presentation of our offer in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, which are overriding in the context of a balancing of interests. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The anonymized IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics is in principle not associated with other data from Google. At the end of our use of Google Analytics and the purposes pursued, the data collected in this context will be deleted.
To the extent that information is transferred to Google servers in the USA and stored there, the American company Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate can be viewed here [link to: https://www.privacyshield.gov/list]. Based on this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has established an adequate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield.
